With everyone calling BHA and Barrrage so called "terrible" for PvE Rangers, I decided to conduct a survey.

Which PvE builds do you use for a ranger?

WS + pet
Spirit spammer when need to play with H/H and need to tank one side while H/H are clearing the other side. Or when really bored(place spirits and alt-tab while H/H and spirits are killing stuff)
Barrage rarely
BHA almost never (I jsut bring dshot+ savage if interrupt is needed)

WTB Frenzy? If you're using a bow in PvE it's quite acceptable to use a long/flatbow if you don't feel like going a bit closer with your hornbow.

Or PvE Skills like Druken Master.

WS-scythe, Prepared Shot turret if "SY!" is needed, rarely BHA (i.e. Frostmaw's Burrows).

I have a few stacks of Candy which covers my IAS but failing that it would either be Frenzy or Dwarven stability+booze

And if anyone here use glass arrows, speak up? I just want to know how good it potentially is.

Depends. Mostly anything with 3 pve skills and builds ppl said above

Why ? test it yourself. Has no secrets , Glass arrows , bow attacks ( better multiple hits ), IAS , Asuran scan and or consumables . Watch out for the energy ( zealous bow is the best imo ) and you are pretty much done. Stack per-hit buffs if you can on your Heroes ... go ahead .

Prepared Shot Turret
Glass Arrows
Barrage (rare...only if I have Splinter Weapon in my group and only if I know I'm up against mobs that like to bunch up...if both requirements are not met Barrage is ignored for better things)
Random pet builds
AP Caller (for Discord teams)
Spirit Spam (I find this utterly boring but it's effective)
Touch Ranger (many variants depending where and what I am doing)

Notice I left out BHA....it has it's uses but I really don't like it. I find myself using it only once per mob and it's not always needed. It's a personal preference.
